A weekend in Tirana by car

Tirana is colourful, friendly and easy to enjoy in a weekend.

On day one, start at Skanderbeg Square, explore the Blloku district for coffee and food, and take the cable car up Dajti Mountain for views over the city. On day two, drive out to Bovilla Lake or the historic town of Kruja, both an easy trip from the centre.

Park in a paid garage downtown and use the car for the trips out of town. It is the easiest way to mix city life with the countryside.
